Octavo, gilt-lettered cloth (spine a little dulled, a few marks, slightly canted, lightly rubbed), illustrated dustjacket (rubbed, tape repairs to edges and folds recto and verso, a few light stains), maps to endpapers (very pale foxing), pp. 320, black and white photographic plates, small water stain to upper edge, a good copy. The author recollects seven years spent with oil and construction firms in Saudi Arabia during a period of rapid expansion of the industry.
