Copy of a inter-office communication from Walt Disney Productions. The memo is from Bill Dover to Mel Barbour discussing having Peter Benchley reading the book and possibly developing it into a role for Dick Van Dyke. The letter is dated 1/15/1969 just after Van Dyke had made Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Benchley's name is written in black marker on the front free endpaper. Sunning to spine, rear hinge weakening, slight slant to spine.
