Folding map, lithograph printed in colour, on linen backing, 870 x 580 mm, in very good condition; folding into cloth-backed papered boards (as issued?), 215 x 130 mm (lightly marked). An early edition possibly the first? of what was a very practical and popular Robinson map that was still being produced in the early post-war period. According to the catalogue entry for the 1937 AIATSIS copy on Trove, the first two digits in the publisher s copyright code indicate the year of copyright when reversed, i.e. 732042 = [19]37; which would date our copy, with code 621142 , to 1926.
