Folio, 555 mm tall, gilt-lettered cloth, original paper wrapper, pp. 55; colophon, ten original colour woodcuts by contemporary Japanese artists in paper mounts bound in to the book, each print signed and numbered. Housed in the original Japanese cedar wooden slipcase box with branded title in Japanese characters. Edition limited to 510 copies signed by the author, this is copy number 2. An absolutely mint copy of this beautiful book, from the private collection of Charles E. Tuttle, the publisher, transferred to Nicholas Ingleton, subsequent owner of Tuttle Corporation; by descent.
