Tacos Magazine No 1: Amor
$55 · Offered by Kitchen Arts & Letters · No longer available
Despite its title, this vibrantly photographed annual magazine isn't about tacos at all. Instead, it's a passion project from the publisher behind three acclaimed guides to taco stands in major Mexican cities ( Tacos CDMX , Tacos Tijuana , and Tacos Guadalajara ). Across more than 300 pages, the magazine showcases photographers who have contributed to that book series, but here they turn their lenses to something entirely different: moments of love and intimacy in public spaces throughout Mexico. The images capture couples in traditional dress, tranquil gardens, flower markets and casual cafes, beach strollers and people stealing quiet moments on park benches. Together, these photographs reveal a rich world of human connection and everyday tenderness. There is a small amount of text, but the photos largely speak for themselves. Paperback. Color photographs throughout. In Spanish.
