New copy, acquired directly from the publisher, of this rare edition which sold out within days of publication. The deluxe edition, described by the publisher as the Artist Edition limited to 25 copies, accompanied by a 8 x 10 photograph (untitled), produced by Spectrum, signed by Bill Henson, housed in a custom folder from the publisher. After the Artist Edition sold out within days, the publisher quickly reissued a Second Series limited to a further 25 copies, each with an original signed photograph, different to that in the First Series. The image in the original photograph in the First Series is of a child wearing jewellery looking at the camera. In the Second Series the image is of a young woman wearing jewellery looking away from the camera. In the early 1990’s Bill Henson was commissioned by the Paris Opera to produce a series of works that were to bring the emotional effect of music into visual form.
