Italian composer (1841-1907) primarily noted for ballet music, best known for his ballet Excelsior. Nice cabinet photo of him by photographer F. Solza (Genova) signed and inscribed by Marenco. Size is 4.3 x 6.5 inches, a bit faded, two pinholes over the right border, otherwise in very good condition.
