Albumen print photograph, 160 x 205 mm, laid down on the recto of a nineteenth-century album leaf of thick card, the mount inscribed in pencil by the album s compiler Strathalbyn ; a strong print with excellent clarity, in fine condition; verso with a view of King William Street, Adelaide (also by Sweet), in good condition; a few spots of foxing to the margins on both sides of the mount. A scarce early photographic image of colonial cricket.
