Uniform small quarto (260 x 200 mm), pictorial card covers (no. 6 in colour), all illustrated with b/w plates (issue no. 6 also with several colour plates); the covers of some issues with paper loss to spine or sunning, lower wrapper of no. 7 detached; internally sound and clean throughout all six issues. A short-lived but important Scandinavian journal of the early 1930s dedicated to Socialist realism. Issue number 6 ( Design in the Soviet Union ) is particularly important and sought-after, and includes poster art by Deinek, Lebedef, Feschin, Annenkof, Moor and other significant artists. Unrecorded in Australian collections.
