Austrian composer (1825-1899), world-famous for his waltzes and operettas, a member of a large family of musicians, Strauss was known as The Waltz King . Fine autograph note in German on his visiting card (not signed) addressed to Emma Pollack (his wife's cousin) where he writes "Enclosed is the aforementioned little something which I would ask you to allow me to put to your feet". Size is 4 x 2.5 inches, in very good condition.
