One of the most striking Australian-themed sheet music covers from the Federation period we have seen. The illustration is signed at lower right W. George . The composer, Gladys Gordon, also performed as a contralto on Australian stages. Two copies are recorded in Australian collections (State Library of New South Wales; National Library of Australia).
