Large octavo (215 x 170 mm), publisher s blind-blocked ultramarine cloth, upper board and spine lettered in gilt (a few light marks, but nice and bright); edges stained red; original brown endpapers, pp. xi, [1 blank], 100; front hinge cracked (but the binding holding firm), occasional spotting; a very good copy. A charming children s book published in Melbourne, devoted primarily to expanding young readers (and game players ) knowledge of local and Australian geography and history.
