Gelatin silver print photograph on Kodak Austral postcard stock, 138 x 88 mm; no studio information, verso uninscribed; the portrait is integral to the coloured rose border (i.e. both must have been re-photographed from a composite image); in very good condition. A beautiful Australian late-Edwardian fashion shot. The woman is holding a rolled-up magazine, possibly so as to highlight the wedding or engagement band on the fourth finger of her left hand.
