Self-published no doubt in very small numbers this essay was originally produced as part requirement for a Masters Degree Qualifier, with the University of Papua New Guinea. The research was undertaken while Mackellar was Assistant District Commissioner, stationed at Menyamya. NLA holds the only copy in Australian libraries.
