Albumen print photograph, cabinet card format, 166 x 106 mm (mount), recto imprinted in gilt Walter Barrett, Southwell ; verso with superb pictorial back mark worded From the Studio of Walter Barrett, Southwell, Notts. Designer, Photographic Artist, Chromolithographer ; the print has some very light mottling in the negative, but is otherwise in excellent condition and very sharp; the mount is in fine condition. The puppy (a beagle?) is fast asleep on the girl s legs.
