Two-part cylindrical case 125 mm. long, diameter 21 mm. , in a light, lacquered wood, the central compartment lined with a tortoiseshell tube which is inserted into upper compartment, flattish ends, both compartments relined with cork, incised gilt metal bands at each juncture; the cases painted with sailboats on a windy sea viewed from the shore with trees, on a bright emerald green ground, small roses painted on each end. Fine condition a couple of small dents
