Small octavo (180 x 117 mm), pictorial wrappers printed in sepia (mild foxing), lower wrapper with street map of Adelaide, inner wrappers with [2] sepia photographic plates; contains a concertina foldout with [18] black and white photographic views and [1] reproduction of an engraving of Adelaide in 1836; the foldout in fine condition; [accompanied by] the extremely scarce original postal envelope, printed Souvenir of South Australia and addressed to Mrs. H. Jasper, Faversham, Kent (light foxing back and front). Two copies of this photographic souvenir recorded in Australian collections (National Library of Australia, State Library of South Australia).
