American dramatic contralto (1871-1947) who had an active international career in concert halls and opera houses from 1895 until her retirement in 1932. Black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment dated 1913, shown in role. Size is 4.9 x 6.9 inches, in excellent condition. ALSO INCLUDED is an album page signed by her with a short sentiment dated in New York, 1912; also signed on verso with a short quote signed by an actor.
