Folio newspaper, roneo printed recto only of 9 sheets, includes illustrated advertisements for R. Hopkins, A.E. Martin, Burns Philp (2), a dance to raise funds for the Melanesian Mission, Producers Co-op Distributing Society, Sun Lee Co., and Griff s; descendants of the Bounty mutineers, members of the Christian and Nobbs families, are listed as players in the cricket match Married vs Single men; only one staple remaining but the newspaper is otherwise in good condition and complete. Extremely scarce. Norfolk Island Times was a short-lived weekly newspaper published between 1933 and 1935 (No. 1 Wednesday, Feb. 8, 1933 no. 140 Wednesday, Oct. 16th, 1935). The National Library of Australia holds the only complete run recorded in Australian collections. Individual issues are very seldom offered on the market.
