Albumen print photograph, 150 x 210 mm, laid down on its original album leaf of thick card, contemporary calligraphic caption in red ink to the mount beneath the image Sheep-Shearing ; the print is in good condition, with some light mottling from the printing process; the album leaf has some mild foxing to the right margin and a split near the left hand edge, well away from the print. An iconic image of rural Australia before Federation, and one of New South Wales photographer Charles Kerry s most famous.
