G. Wodehouse and Guy Bolton". Alicoate has provided her ownership inscription on the front flap of the dust jacket.Wodehouse and Bolton were lifelong friends and collaborators, regularly adapting each other's work. Notable examples of Wodehouse's adaptations of Bolton's plays include French Leave (1955) and The Small Bachelor (1927).
