Darwin's "hints" are as pertinent as ever, here with a special emphasis on the need for appropriate golfing attire. WorldCat records only three institutional holdings: the British Library, the National Library of Scotland, and the University of Minnesota.Darwin (1876-1961), grandson of the famous naturalist, was one of golf's greatest journalists whose works "achieved a classic status" (Jack, p. 151). He was the golf correspondent for The Times for almost five decades.
