The Golden Reign. Limited edition, one of 500 copies. This work contains 50 letters from T. E. Lawrence, and the foreword was written by Lawrence's mother, Sarah Junner. Clare Sydney Smith and T. E. Lawrence met in the 1920s at a party hosted by Smith's husband, who was the commander of the Royal Air Force station at Heliopolis. This edition with a substantial introduction by First World War historian Malcolm Brown, who wrote four books on T. E. Lawrence and was a BBC documentary producer. The first edition was published by Cassell and Company in 1940.
