Black Snow. A Theatrical Novel. First Fontana edition, inscribed by the translator on the title page, "I dedicate this copy to my beloved translator Elizabeth Purdy. Michael Glenny 9 July 86". Black Snow first appeared in the Russian literary journal Novy Mir in 1965. Glenny's translation, the first in English, was published in 1967.
