Pablo M. M. de Sarasate y Navasqués (1844-1908) was a star Spanish violin virtuoso and composer, considered one of the greatest of the 19th century, whose music is still today regularly performed by top violinists. Nice cabinet photograph of him by Walery (London) signed by him on verso and dated in Denver, 1890. Size is 4.1 x 6.4 inches, in excellent condition.
