German pianist, composer and teacher (1862-1942), pupil of the legendary Franz Liszt and one of the most distinguished pianists of his time. Set of 2 autograph notes signed, both written in German, sold untranslated. One is a 3.5 x 5.5 inch postcard, the other 5.25 x 8.25 inch sheet, dated in Vienna, 1935. Both in excellent condition, not sold separately.
