Three-quarter length. With letterpress text and poem within decorative typeset border. Image size 125 x 98 mm, sheet size 325 x 187 mm. Sheet very slightly worn and browned. A German hymnodist, superintendent of the Evangelical college in Augsburg, Wegelin's hymns are simple and natural, and are the productions of an earnest, true-hearted and good pastor rather than of a skillful poet. Julian p. 1246.
