New Orleans: ca 1940s . Edition of 100. Original etching. Sheet size 9-1/2 x 7 ; plate size 7 x 5 ; pencil signed lower right, with title and limitation at left and center. In contemporary hinged gallery mat. Etching in fine condition; mild toning and edgewear to mat. Loving 1908-1973 became something of a New Orleans fixture beginning in the 1930s, when he first began turning out his exceptionally nuanced etchings of French Quarter architecture.
