German violinist (1844-1935), a pupil of Joseph Joachim. Fine cabinet photograph signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment dated 1899; an original cabinet by Arthur Marx. Size is 4.3 x 6.8 inches, spotted rust, two pinholes over the borders, ink marks on verso, in overall good condition.
