American actor and filmmaker (1883-1939), best known for his swashbuckling roles in silent films, considered one of the biggest stars of the silent era; active between 1899 and 1934. Nice black-and-white photo postcard signed by him with a short sentiment. Size is 3.3 x 5.3 inches, mounting traces on verso, otherwise in excellent condition.
