Selma, AL : From the Selma Daily Reporter, 1863 . Broadside, 8 x 5 inches, on blue paper. Old folds, a little light foxing, but a very good example. First separate edition. Chapman 1791-1863 , a native of Virginia, moved to Tennessee at an early age and on to Alabama in 1818, serving as a judge on various courts for more than 30 years; at the time of his death, both of his sons and his son-in-law, Gen. E.W. Pettus, were in Confederate service.
