Polish mezzo-soprano (1865-?), made opera history as the first Suzuki to perform at the premiere of the revised version of Puccini's Madama Butterfly , staged in May 1904 in Brescia, which turned out to be a breakthrough in the history of this work. One of the top stars of world opera at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Signed beautiful cabinet photograph, shown in role, inscribed, bold handwriting and signature. Photo by J.
