Chilean pianist (1903-1991) known for his interpretations of a vast repertoire spanning the Baroque to 20th-century composers; widely considered one of the greatest pianists of the twentieth century. Gorgeous black-and-white photograph mounted on a mat and signed by him with a short sentiment dated in New York, 1948; a photo by Abresch (New York). Total size is 10.5 x 12.5 inches, actual photo is 7.5 x 9.3 inches, vertical crease (not affecting signature), in overall very good condition.
