Austrian soprano (1844-1918) best known for Wagnerian roles, appearing as Brunnhilde in the first complete Ring Cycle in Bayreuth in 1876, and starring in the world premiere performances of Siegfried and Parsifal, also at Bayreuth. Unsigned vintage cabinet photo of her as Kundry (a role she created in the 1882 world premiere) in the second act of Wagner's Parsifal for the 1884 production of the opera, published by Carl Giessel (Bayreuth). Size is 6.5 x 4.25 inches, spotted rust, ink markings on verso, in very good condition.
