France: 19th cent. 28 rectangular playing pieces 20 x 40 mm. , each made from a hand-painted porcelain plaque affixed to an ebony block. Each porcelain plate painted with two die faces flanking a central crowned coat of arms and number 1-28. The first 7 dominoes are incompletely painted.
