Autograph letter in French (untranslated) signed by him, dated in Paris, January 19, 1864, addressed to the Prefect, asking for two invitations for a Bal at the Hôtel de Ville for “…Madame et Mademoiselle de Bruillard…”. Size is 7.7 x 9.9 inches, 1 page, letterhead "Corps Legislatif", folds, some creases, in overall very good condition.
