Hungarian conductor (1850-1898), who assisted Wagner with Der Ring and the first Bayreuth Festival in 1876; later in his life conducted at the Met Opera and the New York Philharmonic between 1891 and 1898. Fine 9-bar music quote from an unidentified piece signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment dated 1892. Size is 7.5 x 3.4 inches, central fold, in very good condition.
