German soprano (1900-1943), signed postcard photograph, shown as Elsa in Wagner's Lohengrin, signed and inscribed on verso, dated in Kassel in 1928. Signed as "Sofie Schubert-Brandstatter" reflecting her marriage to tenor Edwin Schubert. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, small stain on verso, otherwise in very good condition.
