Austrian violinist who moved to the United States in the 1930s, he toured Europe and South America as well as the U.S. as both violin virtuoso and conductor. He became active with several local performing groups in Texas, began to teach at universities, founded the San Angelo Symphony Orchestra, perhaps best known for establishing the San Antonio Chamber Music Society in 1943. Signed photograph, shown in performance, inscribed and dated in Chicago in 1936. Printed signature on front of photographer Fayer, Vienna. Size is 5 x 7 inches, in very good condition.
