American contralto (1892-1935) who debuted in The Metropolitan Opera in 1913 when she was 21. Nice sepia photograph signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment dated 1929, shown in one of her roles. Size is 10 x 13.6 inches, minor cracks, in overall very good condition.
