Philadelphia: Gihon, Fairchild & Co., 1841. 12mo, pp 142; original calf-backed boards, gilt title Shanty on spine; light foxing; very good and sound. The first edition was printed in London in 1839. A New York edition was also published in 1839 and a Utica edition in 1841. NCBEL notes an 1844 edition, with no place of publication. This edition not in American Imprints. And of this edition, OCLC locates only the University of Florida copy. Item #53213
