American composer (1878-1963), known primarily for his song "By the Waters of Minnetonka", was a member of the Indianist movement in American music. Black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment, shown at the piano. Size is 9.25 x 7.5 inches, blind-stamped on the front by Dole Studio, crack over the top, some silvering in all borders, minor damage over the left border, in overall very good condition.
