Legendary Italian soprano (1910-2014), regarded as one of the greatest singers of the twentieth century, sang for over five decades and was especially celebrated in the verismo repertoire. Gorgeous black-and-white photograph mounted on cardboard signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment dated 1957, here shown as Adriana Lecouvreur in Cilea's opera -one of her signature roles; photo by Velani.
