Star Italian opera composer (1813-1901), a central opera composer in all of Europe for 50 years, starting in 1840. Fine cabinet photograph of the composer (an original by Sebastianutti Benque) signed and inscribed by him in Milan, 1881. Size is 4.25 x 5.9 inches, mounting traces on verso, minor stains, in overall excellent condition.
