Acclaimed Italian tenor (1820-1889), originally named Enrico Danieli, who was well known for his technique and powerful voice; creator of the role of Don Alvaro in the world premiere of Verdi's La Forza del Destino in 1862. An original and unsigned Carte-de-Visite (CDV) of the tenor; shown in role. Size is 2.4 x 4.1 inches, ink markings on verso, otherwise in excellent condition.
