Cover features gilt illustration by Blackman. Contains a reproduction of Alvarez's poetry manuscripts as well as 7 full-page coloured gouache paintings by Blackman. Limited deluxe edition, numbered and signed on first page (40/100). Brisbane: University of Queensland, 1971. Folio. Original full brown calf in yellow-and-black slipcase. Pages: 52. Overall condition: near fine. Original cobweb-patterned glassine wrapper present and complete, albeit with some creasing and a long tear along front section. Some minor markings to leather bindings, otherwise pristine. Gilt bright. Contents show some very minor scattered foxing along foredge, otherwise clean and bright. Plates pristine, clear and bold.
