An attractive manuscript leaf from a dispersed eighteenth-century manuscript of the Gita, containing the heading for the seventh chapter of the text reading 'Gyan-Vigyan Yoga, Namm Seventh Chapter'. The miniature, set on a beautiful outdoor terrace next to a running stream, shows a dialogue between Sri Krishna and Arjun. Single leaf, illuminated manuscript on paper, in Sanskrit, with illuminated miniature in the text, lightly rubbed, overall bright and attractive, unexamined out of frame, 205 x 115 mm; mounted and framed, Germany gallery label to verso.
