Harold Bernstein was president of Temple Israel in Great Neck, New York, where, on the day of the inscription, Hausner delivered an address on the recent Six Day War.Hausner was Attorney General of Israel, and the book recounts his role as chief prosecutor in the war crimes trial of Adolf Eichmann.
