Cranston? : September 4, 1822. Three leaves torn from a notebook each approx. 5 x 8 , watermarked paper, in ink and quite legible. A first ? draft of the original autobiography of Christopher Lippitt, given by him to the Rhode Island Historical Society at its inception in 1822. The autobiographical sketch is likely the original draft of the one presented to the Rhode Island Historical Society at their general request for such items in 1822.
