Lucian Clergue, July 1st. 2002."This book collects photographs taken by Lucien Clergue during the production of Cocteau's Testament of Orpheus. He writes, "this is my personal homage to Jean Cocteau. When he asked me to join the crew of Le Testament d'orphée as an independent still photographer, he told me, 'you are free to do as you please, I look forward to being suprised by your photos. They will reveal something different from my film.'"
